I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1944. My father was
employed as a chemist with Shell Oil and my mother was a school teacher. W e
moved to Houston, Texas, in 1946. As a youth,
I attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and worked for four years as a member of
the summer camp staff at Camp strake, in Conroe, Texas.
I attended The University of Texas @ Austin from 1962 – 1966, graduating cum
laude with a B.A. in psychology. At UT, I was named a Cactus outstanding
student, and elected to membership in the Friar Society. I entered Baylor
College of Medicine in Houston in 1966, and received my M.D. in 1970. Following
my internship year, I served two years as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a
flight surgeon, and returned to Houston and Baylor for residency training in
obstetrics and gynecology. I was chief resident in the Baylor program from
1975-1976.
I began private practice in 1976, and have maintained a close relationship with
the Baylor ob/gyn department, where I am a clinical associate professor. I was
certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1979, and now
voluntarily re-certify yearly. I have been on the attending staff at the Baylor
abnormal pap smear clinic for over twenty-five years, have twice been named

gynecological topics such as hormone replacement therapy, abnormal pap smear

Dr. Denise R. Nebgen,
M.D., Ph.D., D.D.S.
I was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1964. I grew up in Boerne Texas,
and attended Texas A&M University for my undergraduate education.
I initially earned a dental degree (DDS) from the University of
Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio,
and then spent 2 years in training towards becoming an Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeon. During this training I became interested
in bone growth, and embryological development and completed a PhD
in 1995 in molecular biology and biochemistry from Northwestern
University in Chicago. I then received advanced standing towards
medical school, and in continuing my pursuit of education, I completed
an MD in 1997. Due to my interests in development and women’s
health, I entered the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and
completed the Baylor OB/GYN Residency in Houston in June of 2001.
On the same day as the completion of my residency, I gave birth
to our first son. I entered private practice in the Texas Medical
Center in August of 2001.
I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have recently
limited my practice to gynecology, minimally invasive procedures,
and pelvic and reconstructive surgery. My areas of special interest
include: adolescent gynecology, contraception, the management of
normal and abnormal pap smears, menopause, hormone replacement,
osteoporosis, and routine preventive care.
I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrical and Gynecology
at the Baylor College of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical College.
As such, I am participating in medical resident education and teaching.
In additional to my private practice I am participating in clinical
research, and publishing articles in peer reviewed journals. I have
recently been granted a patent for the protein that I identified
during my PhD/doctoral research.
I have a significant background of experience at both a personal
and a professional level in a variety of medical fields as well
as my specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and I look forward
to sharing it with you while providing you with excellent medical
care.

Dr. Jill C. Hutton,
M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
I was raised in Spring, Texas and went to Cypress Creek High School
in Northwest Houston. I loved science and springboard diving. I
went to college at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore,
Maryland where I studied biology/biophysics and continued my diving
as well. I went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee
for medical school and then returned home to Houston, Texas for
my training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine.
I have been in practice since graduating from Baylor in 2000 and
I am Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Between my practice
and my family, husband and two sons, I live the full life of many
modern women.
I chose Obstetrics and Genecology because I am compassionate. I
wanted to understand and help with the complexities women face through
their many stages of life. There is joy in helping women in their
younger years, in their times with pregnant bellies, and in the
years leading up to and throughout the menopause. There are many
decisions women face including birth control, infertility, conception,
hormones, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), sexually transmitted diseases
(STDs), sexual difficulties and menstrual problems. There are mixtures
of messages thrown at women.
With so many forms of advertisements, where is a reliable source
information? As a women’s gynecologist I can deliver personal
and clear answers. I give honest, nonjudgmental advice and counsel
patients to make choices in their best interest.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
I continue to learn new skills and work to improve every patient’s
quality of care.
